All In “The American Family”
This week we are starting a new series called, The American Family. Over the last two decades we have not only seen an erosion of values, but we have had a front row seat to watch our families self destruct. Yes there are many families who have stood strong in the face of many obstacles, but based on some of your feedback The American Family is facing some very serious issues. Some that you have adressed are as follows:
- How do I as a single mom support my kids and still have time to instill values?
- What if I raise my kid and he/she turns from all the things they were taught?
- Should I put the needs of my kids before my marriage?
- How do I make sure that my kids don’t make the same mistakes I did?
There were so many more, but it lets you see the depth of what is happening in America today. I want to encourage you to come out this Sunday and invite someone to come with you. Also, don’t check out because your single. You will hear some things that can help you avoid the mistakes so many others have made. The highlight this weekend will be a video sharing some of the stories of our staff and how they were raised.
