5 minutes 2 midnight – part 1
As the Christmas season approaches, wait I think it started way early this year. We so anticipate Christmas that we start preparing for it earlier every year. This year for our Christmas series we are doing a series called, “5 minutes 2 midnight”. I can’t wait! I am so pumped to speak to the many visitors that will come our way as well as our regulars. As the clock ticks towards Christmas, our excitement grows. We can’t wait to open the gifts and see our families. But what if we were to realize that God has some “Divine Gifts” for us? I would love to tell you what they are, but you’ll have to wait until December 16th for that. See if you can figure it out.
Overflow
In Philippians 1:26 we see how our Joy in Christ will OVERFLOW and spill out to affect those around us. In John 10:10 we are told by Jesus Himself that we are supposed to have a life the is gushing with Joyful radical living. This week we are starting a series on the book of Philippians called OVERFLOW. I am jacked up for this series because I see so many people jacked up by their circumstances. I am learning so much about how Joy has nothing to do with my physical location as it does my spiritual location. We all need that kind of Joy that becomes contagious and infects those around us. So start reading the book of Philippians with me and join us if you can. Hopefully we will come down with something other than a cold and pass on something everyone needs, and that is a little bit of true Joy!!!
